Leading manufacturer Pratley is offering a position in our Electrical Product Development Department for a well-rounded, mechanically minded, hands-on and motivated person.

Requirements

· Diploma in engineering or a qualification in toolmaking.

· Strong aptitude for design where you will focus on designing electrical termination equipment.

· Ability to read and produce engineering drawings.

· Must have hands-on experience at producing prototypes using conventional lathes, milling machines and 3D printers.

· Experience in toolmaking, CNC machining and injection moulding would be advantageous.

Skills

· Applicants should be extremely competent in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.

· Experience in CAM software will be an added advantage.

· Must have good mathematical and administrative skills.
